Class Dismissed is a 2010 documentary made by the New York Times journalist Adam B. Ellick, who came to the Swat region in Pakistan to document the perilous times of Taliban rule in the region. The documentary features a story of the Yousafzai family, their exile and return to their hometown, as well as their attempts at rebuilding the school. It was through this documentary that Malala Yousafzai became internationally known as a brave teenage girl fighting for the right of girls for education.

Aleksandar Pavlović teaches modules in rhetoric, stylistic and journalism at the University "Union - Nikola Tesla", Belgrade, Serbia. He hold a BA and MA from the University of Belgrade and PhD from the University of Nottingham. He previously worked as a journalist at the Serbian Broadcasting Company (Radio televizija Srbije), and continues to contribute articles to newspapers and on-line portals in Serbia and the region. He was a trainer at several summer schools and trainings, such as ISCiK (2012, Korça, Albania) and MOV(I)E IT (2014, Kruševac, Serbia).
