EU regional policy helps to boost small and medium-sized enterprises, improve transport links and brings broadband connections to remote regions, invests in a cleaner environment and improves education and skills. EU funding is also invested in innovation, developing new products and production methods, energy efficiency and tackling climate change.
The Competition
he Europe in My Region Photo Competition aims to make citizens notice the excellent work that projects across Europe are doing with the help of EU funding, and explore what these projects mean to local communities.
To take part, all you have to do is upload photos of a project clearly showing the billboard, plaque or poster, etc. with the EU flag somewhere in the picture, so we know that it has received EU funding. Have a look at the example photos below to see what the billboards and plaques look like.
Feel free to be creative and/or include some fun elements in the photo! We would also like to hear your impressions of the project and what it means to you.
You can find projects receiving EU regional funding here and about other EU funds here.

MAKE A STAND – LET’S BUILD OUR FUTURE TOGETHER!
TYM publishes a variety of media contents – texts, caricatures, photos, video-clips – created by young people, youth workers, experts, and all others that wish and have something to say about youth policy.
Geographically, TYM is primarily targeting European and Latin American countries, but it also publishes important news and initiatives in the field of youth policy worldwide.
The e-Magazine gives special attention to youth media activism, wishing to present the examples of best practices of using different media for youth activism.
Besides authored articles, TYM also gathers together relevant articles from other web-sites. TYM e-Magazine is thus a virtual space where visitors are able to get information about the international situation and problems of youth policy, and the place where young authors are able to write articles and other content intended for improving the youth policy internationally. In this respect, it has vital importance for the intraregional and transregional association, understanding, coming together, promoting dialogue and cooperation.
